I’m Trent. My wife and I moved to Pflugerville after college because we wanted to build a life here, and one day raise our kids here. That’s the whole reason I’m running: I want to keep Pflugerville the best place to raise pfamilies.
I studied accounting, with a BS and a Master of Accountancy, and I spent the early part of my career at a top-tier consulting firm, helping large companies work out where their money was going and how their operations could run better. I'd bring that attitude and fact-finding to city council, working to help the city grow sustainably, while keeping what makes us such a great place to live.
I believe in transparency and accountability in city government. People should know where their money is going and why, and they should have a say in how it is spent. Publish the numbers, explain the tradeoffs, and let the people decide.
